John HEINSEN

A seasoned multi-platform producer, John HEINSEN and his company Bunnygraph Entertainment, work with writers, talent, and technologists to create serialized formats for television, interactive/web and mobile platforms in what he calls “Storytelling through Advanced Content”.
John’s 20 year career in entertainment includes experience as Manager of Primetime Programming at the FOX Network, where he creatively helped oversee series such as Family Guy. John’s recent projects include the independent feature film A Tiger’s Tale as well as the 84th, 85th, and 86th Academy Awards, where he has served as Transmedia Producer (Director of Production) for the Disney ABC Television Group overseeing all web, mobile and social media for Oscar.com and Oscars Mobile App. In April, his short film Lone Hunter premiered at the Los Angeles Asia Pacific Film Festival and was selected for the Short Film Corner at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. He is a regular presenter and moderator at Digital Hollywood, CTIA Super Mobility Week, The Circle Conference (Abu Dhabi, UAE), The Amplify Festival (Australia), the Black Nights Film Festival (Tallinn, Estonia) and most recently FICCI-Frames Conference (Mumbai, India). James Cameron’s “Dark Angel”, and 'That 70's Show'. He has also worked for International Creative Management (ICM) and has produced television projects for Castle Rock Entertainment. He serves as Chairman, New Media Council and Vice President for the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and sits on the Executive Committee of the Producers Peer Group of the Television Academy.

Tim Kwok
CEO, Convergence Entertainment
KWOK is a film producer currently based in Los Angeles whose producing credits include mainly international co-production films. Kwok had worked as a high level executive at Los Angeles based New Regency Enterprises and Hong Kong based Emperor Multimedia Group. He has also served as a consultant to Asian film companies such as Edko Films, Toei Animation, Distribution Workshop and others. KWOK is also an advisor to the Hong Kong International Film Festival’s Asian Film Financing Forum.

Anderson LE
Program Director, Hawaii International Film Festival
Splitting his time between Los Angeles, Honolulu, and Ho Chi Minh City, Anderson LE has worked diligently in the global promotion of independent and world cinema as director of programming for the Hawaii International Film Festival (HIFF), which is now heading into its 35th year. In addition to his duties at HIFF, LE also serves as Artistic director for the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, presenting the latest works of Asian American and Asian International cinema to audiences in Southern California and as a programming consultant for the Far East Film Festival in Udine, Italy, where he is in charge of their documentary sidebar.
LE has served on juries for the Toronto International Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, Guanajuato International Film Festival, Singapore International Film Festival, and BiFan, as well as serving as a speaker and panelist at South by Southwest, San Francisco Asian American International Film Festival, Vietnam International Film Festival and the Fantastic Film School in Bucheon.
Like many Vietnamese Americans, Le has pursued film production in the burgeoning Vietnamese film industry, producing in-language films for commercial release in Vietnam. He is the producer of the award winning Saigon Electric (2011) directed by Stephane GAUGER and the horror hit film Hollow (2014) directed by Ham TRAN, which is playing in this year’s BiFan. He is currently producing the action comedy, Bitcoin Heist (2015), which is currently shooting in Vietnam and Taiwan.

Vincent NGO

Screenwriter, producer. Vincent NGO graduated with an MFA from UCLA Film School in 1993. His thesis script – Hancock – opened July 2nd 2008, starring Will SMITH and produced by Michael MANN. Vincent has worked closely with director Tony SCOTT as a script doctor for over ten years, including adapting The Warriors for MTV and Paramount Pictures. He has developed feature projects for Warner Bros, Universal, Dreamworks and Fox. He has developed television projects for FOX, CBS, ABC, DISNEY and for producer Jerry BRUCKHEIMER on the CW NETWORK. Currently, he is producing a feature film The Lose for Fox International and is writing an original spec TV show for Casey Silver Productions.

Alexandre O. PHILIPPE

Alexandre O. Philippe holds a Masters Degree in Dramatic Writing from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, and is Creative Director of ‘Denver-based Exhibit A Pictures and Cinema Vertige.’ He has written, directed and produced numerous award-winning films and documentaries. Recent works include Doc Of The Dead, currently touring film festivals around the world and released by EPiX in the U.S. as the companion piece to World War Z, The Life And Times Of Paul The Pshchic Octopus, which premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival (feature version) and Sheffield Doc/Fest (broadcast version), and is currently being released around the world; and The People vs. George Lucas, which had event screenings at many prestigious film and documentary film festivals on the world stage, including SXSW, Hot Docs, Edinburgh International Film Festival, AFI Silverdocs, Filmfest München, Rome International Film Festival, Stockholm International Film Festival, Istanbul Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, and CPH:DOX. He has also served on several film festival juries, including the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Rome Film Festival, the New Zealand Film Awards, and BiFan this year.
