A trusted authority on world film acquisitions, sales and distribution, and the programming and management of film-focused events, Tom DAVIA is a seasoned 20-year veteran of the global entertainment industry. He is a co-founder and managing partner of CineMaven Media, the unique Miami-based international film consultancy specializing in the aggregate acquisitions of finished feature films, film festivals and markets, and the packaging and production of film projects in development from every corner of the globe, particularly those with genre and/or Ibero-American content, appeal or relevance. Committed to discovering filmmakers with fresh voices and innovative storytelling techniques, and to helping them on their paths to future success, Tom regularly attends film festivals worldwide scouting for new content. He not only understands what makes good, sellable films but how to best deliver them to the global marketplace. His industry expertise comes from an impressive variety of upper management and key consulting positions at many film organizations worldwide, including Los Angeles’ Shoreline Entertainment and the Sundance, Dubai, Miami and Atlanta film festivals, among others. Tom has served on several international film festival juries and is a 1994 graduate of Cornell University’s College of Arts and Sciences.

Roger GARCIA was director of the Hong Kong International Film Festival in the late 1970s when he was successful in gaining wider international exposure for Asian and Hong Kong cinema. He has served as programmer, consultant and juror on many international film festivals in the US, Europe and Asia. As producer he has worked on studio pictures in Hollywood and independent films in Asia, and created programs on Asian cinema for US television. As film critic his writings have been published extensively by the British Film Institute, Cahiers du Cinema, Film Comment, Variety among many others. His latest book is King Hu: In His Own Words. He has been executive director of the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society since 2010 and is responsible for the international film festival; the Asian Film Awards Academy; and Hong Kong Asia Film Financing Forum project market.

LEE Joo Ick is a film producer and the CEO of SCS Boram Entertainment Inc. based in Seoul, Korea. He is well known for many international co-production films, in which he took part in as a producer. He is well connected with film industries in Asia (Japan, China, Hong Kong) and North America. His projects are currently in pre-production or development stage, and they involve multi-national cast, staff and financing. Before he started career in film business, he had experience in journalism and business consulting. LEE Joo Ick received M.A in English and Chinese at Graduate School of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Mike MACARI is a film producer who is a producer of the hugely successful American remake of the Japanese horror film The Ring for Dreamworks Pictures and its sequels The Ring Two and Rings (in post-production). He has also produced 6 Souls starring Julianne MOORE and Johnathan RHYS-MEYERS and The Invisible for Touchstone Pictures. Currently he is in pre-production on the action thriller Fracture to be directed by Gonzalo LOPEZ-GALLEGO (Apollo 18) and on the thriller Temple to be shot in Japan this fall. In addition, he is actively developing, packaging and producing over forty other studio and independent film and television projects. Previously, he was a Development and Production Executive for Fine Line Features/New Line Cinema where he was responsible for overseeing the development and production of projects for Fine Line Features. A few of the projects that he was responsible for include The Anniversary Party starring Jennifer Jason LEIGH, Alan CUMMING, Kevin KLINE, and Gwyneth PALTROW and Human Nature starring Patricia ARQUETTE and Tim ROBBINS. He also covered various domestic and international film festivals and tracked independent feature films at all stages of production for potential domestic and international distribution. Prior to joining Fine Line, Mike was an agent trainee at United Talent Agency where he worked with such clients as Joel and Ethan COEN, Wes ANDERSON, and Curtis HANSON. He is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Texas at Austin Law School in addition to being a member of the California State Bar.
